XDM 3.8 with full grip

Hi all, just wondering if anybody here has experience with Springfields XDM offering of their XDM 3.8 with full frame. I'm a capacity fan so the idea of a short barrel while still having 19+1 is intriguing to me. I have heard and read nothing but good things about XDMs series as a whole but have never fired or owned on myself. I'm thinking of giving it a try if I can ever keep my fun money in my piggy bank.
Anyhow just looking for your thoughts and opinions from xdm owners

I have the xdm compact. It is a great pistol. I wish I had gotten the full size, though.
