Remington makes a reduced recoil load as well. It's in stock at midway.

I have tried the remington, not a marked difference. Hornady cutom lite not available til end of Sept at the earliest according to Cabelas. A friend has offered to light load a handful for me to see if this might work for us. Muzzle break, anyone??

Muzzle brake could make things worse. While it will reduce recoil, it will make the rifle MUCH louder to shoot.

And blow your ears off in a shooting house. Lol. I have to buy more hornady rounds for my girl also. Only got a few left. Maybe they will come back in stock soon. Ill be one the lookout.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I have decided to keep it, Hornady Custom Lite did the trick.

Don't do the muzzle brake. I did the exact thing on my son's model 7. $200 lesson learned. It hurts without ear muffs. Reduced recoil rounds!!!!!!!!
