Is this a PSA premium upper with chrome lined, MP barrel? What markings are on the barrel?

This 7.62x39 suits me just fine for hunting.... Except I feel the need for something that kicks hard.

wELL THE 123sst OR THE cORBON 154GR Hunter will put the deer and hogs down, then the cheap ammo for plinking. What ia the cheap stuff going for now, less than the .30 for 223?

Frank if you go for 7.62x39 in the AR regular AR mags will work fine for hunting as long as its 4-5 rounds or less, anything bigger C products makes a good mag but they are still hit or miss just have to try them out and send back the bad ones, another thing about 7.62x39 in an AR is to make sure you get a heavier hammer spring for the berdan primers or you will have problems with light strikes

As stated in previous post you MUST use the yellow extra power hammer spring or you will be hating life with hard primers, I sold 7.62 upper 2 years ago due to poor mags and hard primers!!

I saw that Merk. There are ne reliable mags by CPD and the MGI or ARP enhanced bolts solve the other, will be sure to do the springs too. I just love the accuracy of the AR platform as opposed to the AK and then surplus ammo for.20 helps too, hunting ammo is about the same as my 6.8. I should just build another 6.8 pistol instead of the 7.62x39.

So I will expand my want to trade for a 6.8 upper 11.5-16" barrels only.

If you wanna shoot x39, buy an AK. The Centurion C63 does 1MOA. Plenty good for hunting. We can chalk up Glock reliability all day, but then you're gonna try and build that unreliable monstrosity? Then we can talk about how 6.8 is so much better than 300blk, but supersonic 300blk surpasses x39 ballistics. The x39 AR is not popular for good reason. The Sig gets great reviews though, and almost feels like an AR. But then you've probably considered all this already. Just sayin' good luck, though good Sir.
