Because remington 700 can be some of the best rifles made ( I hunt with one), or not very good depending on the year of manufacture. There are some pretty big differences. Why are you worried about my question?

Length of pull is currently a hair under 14in. If you remove the limbsaver recoil pad and spacers looks like itd be about 13 1/4
