I'm looking for an SVT 40. Would consider anything from mint collectors to beat up shooters, and will seriously pay a $100 finders fee if we can make a deal. Anyone know of anyone who would sell theirs? I've been looking locally for years, just don't trust internet pics/descriptions enough to spend this kinda money on a surplus gun on the auction sites. I'm willing to drive a few hours in any direction, and can trade/cash/crypto/silver/gold as preferred.

I had two in the past and sold them both years ago. I've been looking quietly for the last 3-4 years and finally resorting to posting/desperate measures. Gonna end up buying one on gunbroker I just see so many mismatched parts/issues that it scares me on a $2k plus gun now. I haven't seen one for sale for years either, and I search around pretty much every weekend.
