Check with Walmart i saw a marlin 336 in 30/30 last week in at the pace store, I think it was $330 or around $350

Are you looking for a Marlin or a Winchester ? I've got a NIB Winchester 94 that I bought the last year of production (about 2008 or 2009) that I would sell for $550. I can send pics if you are interested. Several similar guns have gone for $600+ on GB lately.

I was looking at the Marlin, but I would consider the Winchester. Definitely send me some pics. Im looking to buy either the end of this weeek or next. O*D*W

Beware of the new "marlington" 336's. Remington took over production in 2008 or so and quality suffered, read some reviews, not sure if they've gotten all the bugs worked out or not.

Has anyone heard about the Mossberg 30-30 lever actions? Academy sells them at around the same price as the Marlin 336

That 336 at the Pace Wally World is a very pretty gun. I have a beautiful Winchester 94 and I still considered buying that Marlin.

It was still there as of yesterday.

Where is Ubers? Ive heard alot of people reccomend them. Do they have pretty reasonable prices on guns? Im sure I will also need to buy a scope and hardware, they are good for those as well? Thanks - O*D*W

It's over off of mobile hwy and Fairfield. They have a decent selection prices are ok they usually have a lot of used guns and some military surplus like mosin's

I Would keep an eye out for an old glenfield as well, it's identical to a Marlin.
