    What makes u think ur barrel isn't any good anymore??? They don't just go bad and don't think you'll ever burn 1 out.... now ifin you dont clean it, corrosion will tear it up....

    Thanks for the reply Jason, loaned seneca to a friend???Some time ago, got it back finally an barrel bore looks awful, cant see the grooves trying to clean it up . I think it might be toast!!!!!Learned leason for sure! Any info? Thanks Denny

    Plug the end pour viniger and baking soda mixture in it. Let it sit for 5 min then run cleaning rod through it and see if it helps.

    Buy some Strike Hold (Scott's in Jay 4 sure, maybe Mike's in Pcola has it???), squirt it all over the barrel, then attach a cleaning rod to a drill and go to town. Do over and over till you get the barrel clean, it all depends on how bad. A friend of mine did the same thing but I told him I'd clean it fer him....bout an hour and a half later---and a whole lotta scrubbing, it was much much better!!! Still a little pitting but manageable....

    Cleaned my 45cal. seneca this morn., bore cleaner an brush, look much better now, thanks for all the info guys!!!!hope it shoots as straight as it used to!!!Have a Blessed Day, Denny

    I have one in 50, the hole thing. I bought it and took apart to clean and it is still apart. Let me know if you are interested.
