I recently finished building one of those traditions flintlock pistols and have been itching to take it to the range, the only problem is I haven’t been able to locate any 4F black powder for the flash pan so I thought id reach out to see if anyone had some to spare. It doesnt have to be a whole container, if it’s just enough to fill my brass pan primer tube thats fine with me. Price can be negotiated as its a hot commodity.

    Thanks for reading.

    Thanks!
I will give them a call in the am.
Not sure if 3F can be used in the flash pan, I’ll do more research.

No luck with ubers or bass pro shops, they only sell the synthetic replacements.

I just got into shooting black powder cartridge rifles and placed an order with a place called Traveller's Antiques. They sell all kinds of black powder and accessories. The problem is there is a federal hazmat fee of $44 on all powder shipments so you either need to order several pounds of powder or go together with some other guys to make up an order. They can ship 50 pounds at a time for one hazmat fee. I went together with some other guys and we split a 50 pound order. I am set for a while or I would go in with you on an order. You have to fill out a form and will have to call them to see if they have 4f in stock.
