Round barrel .22 S.L. or L.R.. S/N has manufacture date of 1939.
Gun is in good condition. The barrel is very clean and the action is super smooth. There is some small oxidation spots and the bluing on the mag tube is worn. It appears the stock was refinished at some point(ref photo of butt plate area).
Gun was given new as a wedding present, then given to the son in 1953. The son is my nextdoor neighbor and is the actual seller; I am listing it for him as he is not a technology guy.
