However, one idea in a flexible order:

Step one: recognize Nationwide Constitutional Carry, both open and concealed. Encourage safe practices and judicious marksmanship by funding classroom instruction and range time with quality instructors. Not mandatory, but available in every community. Doesn't have to be free (we aren’t communists).

Step two: educate Citizens and LEO and DAs about self-defense laws. Reform the laws in order to protect the victim more than the criminal attacker.

Step three: lock up the gang-banger thugs who commit crimes using guns.

Step four: fire and/or prosecute all government officials who actively shirk their sworn duties by protecting and encouraging criminals. (example: failing to prosecute shoplifters, allowing our National border to be wide open and unprotected, etc)

Step five: disband the BATFE.

Step six: Repeal the NFA, GCA, and FOPA

Step seven: return shooting classes to schools and universities. Make marksmanship more important than penmanship. Involve the CMP for instructors and equipment and ammo.

Step eight: hire and re-train retired LEO and military for school security jobs.
