My first hunting rifle is a Remy 700 adl .270. 1986 i believe is the year. Its an old gun and I have cooler rifles to hunt with in bigger calibers, that are accurate enough to shoot a fly's d**k off and leave the fly haha but this rifle is still my favorite. Deer hate it.

It depends upon what Im doing. If I'm hiking alot, I carry my Winchester mod 70fwt .243. with 3X9 vx2 If I'm gonna be in a shooting house, I'm bringing the Ruger stainless m-77 VT 25.06 with VX3. It's over 11lb but all I need is their zip code.

M60E3. I'd actually prefer an E2, but they had been phased out by then.

Hey, you didn't specify what we were hunting!

M1D Sniper Garand-retro: re-chambered for .308 with a Criterion barrel; cheek-pad; leather sling; flash hider; receiver by Caspian Arms; Leupold Rifleman scope 12x-40mm; it's got some anachronisms, but it's as close to a exact replica as I could get. Plus I wanted a functional hunting rifle. It started life as a broke-d!@# Century Arms parts kit M1 Garand for $500. I rebuilt it......I have the technology, like Col. Steve Austin.

    I bought a Browning A-bolt composite stock stalker in .270 back in 1997, and it is topped with a Swarovski 4 X 12 X 50.
It shows use, but it is a killing machine. It is my "Go To" gun.
