“Not really a big deal”... good thing you left before they convinced you completely.

Here’s an idea: every time someone is going to use a crosswalk, a dedicated crosswalk police officer will escort them across the street. Of course, there will be a slight fee for that “service”. It’s for your safety, so it’s ok.
Wanna cross the street anywhere else than the crosswalk? Well, that’s jaywalking and that’s illegal. Of course, you could walk a few miles down the road to the pedestrian footbridge. That one doesn’t need a police escort, so you do have a free option to cross the street.

It’s a government imposed fee on doing something that didn’t need extra government interference and their subsequent fees. It’s tyranny. At “only” $2.50 at a time...

Wow, I guess Kommiefornia’s tyranny is only a dollar, so there’s that.
    Bidenflation strikes again.

I mean it is New York we are talking about, and most of the time we don't really care about New York. However, when's this nonsense going to stop?

    then only tues thru friday.

    then only alternate thursdays

    then only with a sponsor.

then the fee triples and requires insurance and house inspection

then only to those on the "list"

then a limit on how much, and what calibers you can have

    then they come for you...

    f@ck and feed them fishheads..

All part of the plan: no need to outlaw anything firearm related. All you have to do is make it so expensive that people won't be able to afford it.
This has been my belief for decades. Been proven right with every election that installed the new regime that was gonna fix everything. Ain't gonna happen next time, either. Well, they'll sure look nice hangin' over the fireplace you're not allowed to light...

Just another "Poll Tax" by the Democrats.

They've been doing it since forever.
Yeah, but they move here with that same must be taxed/comply mentality and then set about demanding their new neighbors be more like them. It's not like they even try to blend...
