Got a bunch of reloading tools and equipment in a box lot a while back. Finally getting to what all I got. ID'd just about everything but this widget. It is marked RCBS, but after looking all over the website, I'm stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Im not sure if its it but there are berdan depriming tools that you place a spent case over and they have another handle like a can opener that pops the primer out. Others use a piston and water pressure to pop it out. This looks like part of the can opener type but its shorter Just guessing its for pistol cartridges.

RCBS as you may know has excellent CS. I'm sure if you contact them the mystery will be solved rather quickly.

It's obviously a hand too of some sorts. Seeing as it has no cutting surface, that I can see, I'd rule out anything like a primer pocket reamer or case trimmer.

Interesting... looking forward to the answer.

It turns out the widget is the handle that loosens and/or tightens the shell holder on the Big Max press I got in the box lot. I got that answer off another forum. I tried it and it fit like a glove. I did send the pic to RCBS CS and I expect they will confirm. I will let you know. Thanks for your input!
