I have noticed that Al's Pawn and Rifle Shop just over the Escambia Fill in Pace is closed. Curious as to what happened. They were there for a long time.

The last time I went in there they had very few guns..I think the economy took a big toll on them a few years back like a lot of businesses. I hate to see them go, they were always friendly and had cool stuff in there

Sad to see em go. It was a family run business that treated people right.

Wow that's sad didn't know he passed away he was always a blast you could run in there for a box of ammo and end up shooting the shit for an hour. He was a wealth of knowledge. But I've seen it more and more these days build something up for your children and they piss it all away.

I noticed a while back that the old man wasn't there anymore. I used to stop in about once a month to see if they had any used guns I was interested in. Sometimes they did but not at the price they wanted.
I had to stop going in there because of the smoke. My throat would hurt for hours after going in there.
Last time I was in , I noticed their gun selection was way down. I figued something was going on.

I went in there before they closed.. They had Hi Points for $375 and 50rds of Federal bulk 22lr divided into little baggies for $13. The $99 Black Friday special 22lr Rough Rider revolver was for sale, only $400. They tried telling me it was better than a Ruger single six 22.

Actually Tina was having health issues and she made the decision to sell out and close the doors, as for prices you could get good deals and bad like most Pawn Shops. Brian was always good to me and treated me good....Sad to see em go

They older lady as mentioned was in poor health. I think the great panic didn't help them much either.
