Had a couple of guys bring their .22 rimfire rifles so we could test the CMP Eley ammo in them. I brought my bull barrel Winchester M52. One shooter brought his Ruger American Rimfire Target rifle. The other brought his tricked out Ruger 10/22 (aftermarket barrel and stock).
The CMP Eley ammo is a winner for the price of 7.1 cents per round. In some rifles it beat Wolf Match Target and in other rifles it comes very close to the Wolf. In all cases, it easily beat the regular bulk type .22 ammo for accuracy. It functioned the 10/22 just fine. It liked 3-4 fouling shots before settling down if the barrel had been shot with another brand of ammo.
