Set up a bench for my sonic cleaner today and tried it out for the first time since I bought it a month ago. Works like a charm and took 18 months worth and 30,000 rounds of gunk out of my training gun.

I was kinda suprised it bent so easily. I was using my small brass/poly hammer. You get what you pay for though. It was a Wheeler set of punches.

I use a tapered nail punch when something needs more...motivation. Once it gets moving, I'll move to the correct size. Broke a smaller Starrett and jammed it into my hand motivating a Saiga12 gas block pin one day. Lesson learned.

Installed a 9.7" SLR handguard on my 10.5" 300blk upper I'm building. Only lacking a bcg and muzzle device at this time. Looking good.

Id be interested in trading this strikefireII for a sparcII if anyone's a taker

Hey man! I wasn't able to look at prices too much because it was PACKED. I'mean gonna go again during the week sometime to see about the prices, it's only 5 mins from my house. This place was awesome though. I was able to snap a couple pics. They had 3 solid walls at least 30 yards long full of new guns and their used inventory was about all the guns that Jay's and Mikes has in their shop combined. Between this place and KY GUN COMPANY (only 1.5 hours from my house) they are sure to guarantee me a few nights on the couch.

Oh and also my wife and I had to retake our CCW class today to get licensed here in KY. I was top shooter in my class (out of 23) and got a certificate for a free advanced training class with the instructor that put on the class. I was pretty happy ( and shocked) for not having shot in over a year it seems.

Sounds to me like you are pushing for a reclass of a couple of slots. Good for you, move up when you can. Shure stops any harrasment :).

I have no delusions of making Grand Master, simply because I know that I'm not currently willing to put in the work it will take to get there. But I do feel like with my current training schedule, I should be able to make Master without too much difficulty. It will just take some time.

Absolutely, it is tough when you find yourself compeating against folks that shoot every day for hours, with a half dozen guns that are exactly the same in every respect plus have unlimited spare parts and repair folks standing by, cases of ammo loaded to their specifications for all of the guns. With dozens of fitted magazines that do not require cleaning during the match by the shooter. This prep and support does not disturb the shooters mental preperation. Basicly the top shooters, just shoot, similar to car racing when faced with running againt drivers of paid crew built and kept cars with multiple cars and multiple engines.

Been involved in both, race cars and race guns, at that level, amature VS professionals, it is an uphill climb for sure, so good luck and go get em.

I just started looking through the list of discounts available to me through my sponsor. This might hurt my wallet.
That's how it is with one of our distributors for my job. They sell really high end AV stuff and we get a insane price on it compared to retail. When I do buy a house I will be spending a good bit with them

Reset the Dillon 650 for e3 powder, dropping a nice consistent 3.6 grains now and ready to load like beast. Now I've just got to make the time to load the ammo.
