I changed my mind. I like my XDs so much I'm now considering an XD Service model in 45 over the M&P. Furthermore, I cant ignore the good reviews and attractive prices for this model.

Bought my grandson his first gun today. He loves guns and will visit us this time next year. I will teach him how to shoot with his own gun. Found him a Distributor Special order item, the Ruger Bearcat Shopkeeper!

Swapped all the FDE parts from my SBR to my full size AR and ordered a black strike industries dust cover for the SBR and FDE wedgelok hand guards to replace the black ones on the full size.

Took the daughter's family out to my range at the farm and got in a day of shooting with guns they have never shot before. It was a very nice day to be out shooting clays and targets with youngsters. They had a great time and did not last long after supper.

My brother is in town from South Carolina for Thanksgiving. We fed him a good homemade Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. Today, along with an old childhood friend of his, we made a range trip to the SRSC. We took out my old G1 FAL and PTR-91 along with my Browning HP and Glock 43. He brought his Springfield MC Operator that I used to own. His friend brought a couple of his bolt-action rifles. We had a great time. All three of us have not been shooting together for several years.

Finally finished loading the first press of ammo for the .44 Russian. Hand dropping powder adds a lot of time in the loading process.

Picked the scope from Chads today from the for sale section. Great guy to deal with. Building the stand to hang my 10" ar500 3/8" steel plate from tomorrow and then time to sight it in

Looks good, is the bottom attachment part of the handguard a keymod type too? Just wondering if there was a reason you mounted the bipod like that or if you just used what you already had.
