I'll be taking my own tomorrow, but this one is from the seller. It's NIB, unfired, so it'll be nice and tight.

For the life of me, I can't decide what kind of grips to put on it. Any ideas? I'm not a huge fan of wood.

I like Aliens. Had them on a springer operator, almost got them for the RO9, but settled on operator 2 for max grip, recoil management, and speed. Aliens are great all around though. I've thought about Aliens in Desert Sand, which is colored very similar to ivory, which is a great color on a blue gun.

I'm completely unqualified to.judge 1911s but that thing is really pretty. Just like it is. I understand that they aren't optimal for use but damn. That's just nice looking


Edit: my use of the word "they" in the next to the last sentence. "They" refered to the grips, not the gun.

Those are the same ones I have on my EDC Range Officer. I really like them.

Researched on holsters for the Action Pistol/Steel Challange matches.

I want a leather holster but since I am a beginner will go with the Alien gear OWB.

Need to decide on the magazine pouch now...

Ordered a scope, rings, and some mags for the Gunsite Scout Rifle (Thanks Chaos). Told the wife and she didn't even ask how much I spent. She is definitely a keeper for sure.

Chrono'd my 9mm loads to make sure they made power factor (made 143), then loaded up 200 of them. Have to find a mag pouch between now and the 21st.....

Coming out to IDPA? If so, what are you shooting? We may be able to loan one to you. TGD has several styles though.
