Did a little organizing and fondled some of my beauties while its been raining. I love how the new to me 44 mag redhawk feels in my hand. I think the super blackhawk is gonna go bye-bye soon.

I sure miss my first year production model New Super Blackhawk that had a ser # of 6XXX. Bluing was immaculate...and seldom fired. The rifle I sold it to build sure shoots good which takes the sting out a little.

was at a buddy's farm, he had been shooting that morning and wanted me to fire his rifle since it was still set up. I fired 2 .22-250 rounds trying to hit his holes in the target. 1st one showed me how light his trigger pull was and was about 1.5" straight above his 2 shot hole and a call. I sent the next one and I felt it was a good shot and no call. It went about 1" under his. I guess we see differently through his scope. Think I could have held the next one in.

    How heavy is that?
About 5.5 lbs. It's solid built all steel. Bull barrel. More like a mid size barrel. Just a bit heavier than the s2k. With lpvo it's heavier. Shooting left no blast to the face from the operation. Used my magpul fixed stock hack.

Picked up another G19 clone with threaded barrel and RMR slide from Combat Armory for $260! Just for fun! Will go in the safe like the real ones!

Went to Gulf Coast Guns and saw some familiar faces - spent some more money. Need to sell a few things to replenish and spend more.

Trying to figure out holsters for my 30s this evening.
