Test fired two new (to me) pistols from the seven yard line. Glock 19 (with aftermarket stainless guide rod) is on the left. Smith & Wesson M&P Compact is on the right. Had the entire SRSC to myself, kinda surreal but a great day.

Put a couple poles up and mounted a target my brother had laying around, built the ground up so I could walk out to it. I can probably get back 250 yards if I wanted

Mostly we would use it for pistol though.
In case your curious, their ain’t nothing for 2 miles behind it.

Took my 17 year old daughter to the range to shoot her new gun for the first time. Hard to see her smile from this angle. She's definitely a revolver girl for sure. Taurus m65, fired a bunch of wadcutters and even some .357 Magnum defensive loads. At 12 yards you could cover 12 shots with your fist.

I did not have fun at the range today.
Dissapointed after spending $200 to improve the trigger on my chosen self-defense gun, the gun that fits me the best and is OUTSTANDING in everyway for me and it is the gun I have best accuracy with so far, EXCEPT the trigger is shit.
And it cannot be improved more than what I already have done to it.
Did I say the trigger is shit?

    So dissapointed.

Will have to suck it up and trainwith it. Maybe I can forget how unimpressive the trigger is compared to how much Iove the rest of the gun.

    I hate polymer.
Will look into a quality steel gun that is compact enough. ( they are either too small or too big ).

So nice to be shooting outdoors! Tell her from one lady who started shooting late in life: keep it up she will be great in no time!
Someone at the range today was shotting a 41 Ruger Redhawk (?)
OMG it was a hand cannon.

    This is a great idea!
Super crowded at my city range today and this above is exactly what I want ( doesn't have to be waterfront just my own land ). Hopefully will buy my land in the Panhandle soon!

Sold some ammunition and a provety pony lower ,and got a pretty good offer on the some more AR lowers I have. I’m still not sure that selling anything is a good idea in these troubled times.

I'm teaching my daughter how to prep brass for reloading. We've gone over size and decap and now into sonic cleaning of .38/.357. once all the brass is prepped, we'll go over learning how to read the manuals for loading. I'll be damned if I'm gonna reload all her ammo and my ammo for every range trip.
