What Cartridge is This?

I was going thru some of the things I’ve got left from selling for a widowed neighbor and found a few of these in an old S&W box.
What is this? Short & fat, not as big as .45 acp. Has a V on the head.
Next to a .22 LR for reference.

It’s a rimfire.

My bet is rim fire, 44 rim fire short

I was thinking from the comparison it would be closer to a 32 maybe 38 caliber

Never mind the Henry and Yellow Boy used the .44 Long rimfire.

Could be a 32 rimfire, they came in long and short.
