Vz2008 (vz58) runs fine, both guns have very low round count. selling because I have 2 and need cash to fund another project.

It uses its own Aluminum mags, AK mags wont work. The receivers are milled and the action issmooth and it has a good trigger, The Czechs were a com block country but always did things a little different than the Russians.

No problem lots of people think its an ak but other than outward astetics its a totally different firearm, its a short stroke striker fired weapon, it feels slimmer than an AK, its a pussycat to shoot. Its not necessarily better than an AK just a different platform that looks kinda like an AK.

Is this a Century product, or an actual Czech Small Arms rifle?

This is a Vz2008 which is Century, Vz58 is Czech small arms.
I had a Czechspoint VZ58, out of the box I had problems with it I took it back and bought my second Century. this is one gun that century got right and these have been reliable guns.
