I'm more than a little confused about how everyone bitches our government is useless they don't stick up for the people and what the people want, yet here the republican party is trying to stand up against a dictator who has flat out said "There will be no negotiation" It's my way or no way. An now everyone is referring to Washington as "having a pissing match now?" I find it very disheartening how fast people turn to bitching instead of actually paying attention to the facts and supporting the officials that are doing exactly what YOU asked them to do.

Yep, this has been going in since this nation was born. This is exactly how our American Constitutional system should be working.

Most folks live in a cocoon and like to have their day to day world all wrapped up in a nice black and white wrapper. They want everything to be nice and simple.

The thing is, the real world is 50 shades of gray.

The GOP, rightfully so, fully believe that they're saving this Country from a HUGE socialist agenda and they're using the only means they have to do so.


The sad thing is how many Americans don't realize how "UnAmerican" this health care bill( and TARP and bail outs and borrowing from China and printing money, etc) is. The govt has NO business in the auto, education, housing or health care, etc, business. All they're suppose to be doing is promote Commerce and protect our Country. That's it, period.

The tragic thing is that 60% of this Country WANTS the govt to take care of them= socialism.

I really don't see any way in the near future that the health bill will be repealed. The highest court in the land has said it is legal so we are stuck with it for.now Unless Rep get control of both houses it will NEVER be repealed no matter how bad it sucks or hurts people.
