Inland M1 Carbine & Winchester M1 Carbine
Whiting Field area, north of Milton
PM
Inland - $600 Winchester - $700 No trades
Both came from CMP that got them from the Army that got them back when Italy returned the loaned carbines. Both are mixmasters and have been through rebuild with stamped adjustable sights, bayonet lugs and pot belly M2 stocks added. Both have bright bores that look excellent to me. I have a mag for each. Both stocks have the Italian inspection stamp FAT (Fabbrica Armi de Terni. This was the main military arsenal in Italy from 1880 to WWII. After WWII it continued to maintain & rebuild arms for the Italian Armed Forces.)
"I'll take it" with no stipulations takes priority. If you change your mind and won't be coming to look and/or test fire, please simply say so and no hard feelings. Selling some items to fund another project. May be also putting up a M1 Rifle. I've tried to price them less than what friends said GI carbines are selling for now. Florida resident or FFL.
Inland has Inland bbl, bolt, and trigger housing. Hammer is W. Muzzle gages "2". I'd say the metal finish on the Inland is not as good as the Winchester has, but the Inland has a better looking stock. Inland pics below, including the worst spot on its stock:
Winchester has Winchester bbl, bolt, hammer. Trigger housing is N. Muzzle gages "1". Winchester pics below, including the worst spot on its stock:
