Does anyone know if the trigger on a Taurus 740 can be shortened and lightened? The pull is too long and pretty stiff.

Supposedly, the Keep Tinkering trigger kits for the G2c will work in the 709/740.

more than likely you will spend more than the gun is worth. My advice would be trade up to a better gun. I have seen at least 2 of these Taurus pistols break at the range, and another in my hands. It is not a personal protection candidate in my opinion. But on the good side they might replace it and may not, I know of both instances.
