Sucks to think that there are some nice guns that someone had left to them, that they have no care for are about to be melted down just because they needed money for drugs. I get that it takes guns off the street, but it also provides quick cash for a junkie. Also seems to be a good way to get rid of stolen property.
Most favorite ignorant quote of the day........“Many of those weapons are designed to pierce body armor, and getting just one of them off the street is a tremendous value,” state Attorney General Christopher Porrino said.
I hope they had someone that actually knows something about guns look them over to declare a real value and possible trade them out for firearms for LEO's as long as they come back clean!
this is the PLAN of our government at the governor level. images of Chicago and now Baltimore ( easy just step back and LET them kill one another for the camera`s) are winning the hearts and mind of "the weak minded"
Most of that, with a few exceptions, looks like junk that isn't worth what they were paying out.
I wonder if there were a few dealers there with dozens of phoenix arms and cobra pistols ready to turn in and double there money on. They should do one of those here locally.
