    Looking to trade for a 243 hunting riffle for a kid before I buy a new one. Also looking for a shotgun or 45/70.. trade value is $800

    I’m interested and have a good .270 that he or she can grow into, doesn’t kick much more than a .243 with scope ready to go. But curious about what looks to be scratches on the Smith is that just the photos ?

    I might be interested but would need to see more pictures under the grips and the back strap and front of the grip.

    I have a Rem model 700 first year production (1962) all correct in .243 I’m second owner and believe it has never been fired. Blue book value rates at $835 but have seen lesser quality selling near the $1000 mark (guess to the fact they are not being made right now).

    Do you have the original grips for the pistol ?

    does it have a 20 or 24 " barrel? 20" was standard 24" is an add $30

    I think he has traded anyway but they did make it in both one would just be a little more unique
