When the Thompson Center Icon was first introduced I worked hard to find the first one I could find in a store. I was really excited about what I thought was a sure to be a benchmark type rifle being produced by TC in the Icon. After seeing the first one I got to touch I ordered one chambered in 30TC. I have tweaked and played with it ever since and it has been the worst let down I have ever had in my expectation of a rifle. Don't get me wrong it's OK, but I expected GREAT. Based on what I have found it to be I should have paid $500.00 for mine.
Anyone found the TC Icon to be anything other than what I have?
NOTE: I have another rifle chambered in 30TC, it's a TC ProHunter and I absolutely love the 30TC round.
