    To make you feel better:
I bought a P7M13 ( around the same time as the Carbine ) for 2K, sold it 3 months later for $2600 and this month same gun sold for $3800.
So I guess i regret the timing of that "sold but wish I still had". .
    :)
Mine wasnt even due to the cash of how much it would have sold for later. Honestly it was a fun gun overall. It wouldnt choke no matter how cheap the ammo was.

My custom build grey ar I sold it and build a really ugly red ar. I looked better in my mind but the grey one was a thing of beauty.

Dang, where do I start? Too many have gone the wayside through the years, raising six young'ns. There's two I'd like to have back:
Smith& Wesson M57 stainless 8 3/8 in presentation case, bought in 1976 and Dan Wesson Pistol Pack bought in 1974!

Colt Python, 6” barrel, blue finish. Sold it to my zone partner for $200.00. I was carrying a 4” Python, blue finish and thought why keep both. Yeah, I’m kicking myself now

Two more, a Weimar Era Luger, which I sold, and, an 1881 Marlin 45-70 with some fire damage. I left it in Daytona with a gunsmith to restore. I moved, he passed away and the rifle did too. Darn.

My Remington 20ga single shot. It was my first real gun and it was stolen out of our house when I was a kid.

I have two, my 03A3 and K98k. Had bills to pay. With the prices they're fetching now, I doubt I'll be replacing them any time soon.

My husband did the same with his P7M8. Was a Chantilly model also. Same price as you so must have around the same time.
They cost of them now is just ridiculous.
I still hope to have one but to shoot not to collect but I would only be willing to pay $1000 so it is not going to happen, ha!

"The one gun I wish I still had?" hummm ... I am old enough to have bought most of them back by now. (usually at a premium. lol)
But the first real target rifle I had will be very hard to replace. It was 1972ish and my gun happy uncle traded me a Winchester model 70 chambered in .225win and came with a 26" bull barrel, a thumbhole stock , i cant remember what scope I had on it but it was at least x20 and that baby could stretch out a shot. I actually shot it aprox 1 mile and watched the ice splatter around a target on a frozen lake. (winter in Maine shooting from a roof top) It was said to be a mile walk through the woods so the shot was a loooong way. But alas... I was a 17 year old and saw something shinny to trade it for and poof it was gone never to be seen again. I have seen lots of bullets through the years of trading and swapping and can't recall ever finding any .225win around these parts.
