The Ascend Range (Monsanto Range)

I finally got me a day off so Im still headed to work to go try out our range for the first time. Im not taking any of my bigger guns yet, just my marlin 60 and Rem model 514. Im planning on trying out some 100 and 200 yard shots with the old .22s. I really just want to get out there and see the range. I might take my shotgun too and go pick up some clays from Walmart.

No. It is for Ascend employees, friends, and family...

When I got to the range we had to chase some hogs off so we could set up targets. While I was setting up my target I noticed a 5ft long Black snake trying to get away from me. After I had been shooting for a little bit I noticed a gopher tortious sun bathing maybe 15ft away from me. These animals know they are in a sanctuary for sure..
