Tail Hook pistol brace predicament

I bought a Diamondback DB-15 pistol awhile back. I’m just now realizing that the Tail Hook pistol brace that came with it utilizes a proprietary buffer tube. Which means it won’t take any type of Milspec or Commercial pistol brace. Not thrilled about it.

I suppose my only option is to buy a Milspec buffer tube and move on.

Any thoughts?

If you’re happy with the quality and performance of your DB, yes, you’ll need a new tube.

Let me know when you replace that tail hook setup, I'd happily take it off your hands! I could also swap a milspec tube and different brace for it...
