ALL the upgrades would run you between $500 and $600. The beauty with going custom is that you can pick and choose what you do or don't need. The checkering and cerakote are more than half of the investment, but something I HAD to have. YMMV.
Sounds good. I lost my pics when my phone crapped out a couple of years ago. I'll go shoot this one in the next couple of days to function test. I'll post that target. If it's like before, it'll be 5 rounds through the same hole.
That was the main reason I got my old one back.
After deciding that I needed a 9mm 1911, I looked at Wilson, but couldn't justify that much on a range toy. Carry, or home defense? ALL DAY, but not for punching paper. Then it came down to the DW PM9 and upgrading my old RO9. The RO9 won because even after the upgrades, it's cheaper than the DW, and I knew I could put multiple rounds through one hole because I had already done so. Long story short, RO9, very affordable, well made and an absolute tack driver. GLWS!
whats so good about a glock....u can sell it without a lotta of convincing.....so ur 1911 9mm is more accurate than my 17....iwill apologize to mr terrorist....for the forehead shot....when i was aiming left nostril
