.30-30 Winchester Model 1894 in good condition, freckling on the receiver typical of these guns and some finish wear toward the muzzle, and the receiver is tapped for peep sights.
I have not fired this rifle since I acquired it and I don't know the round count from those that owned it before me.

Serial # puts this rifle in late 1966 / possibly early 1967.
Light and handy with that famous .30-30 punch.

Comes with two boxes of ammo -
    • Winchester Super X 150 grain PowerPoint.
    • PPU FSP 170 grain.

    Asking $600 OBO

    Contact via PM.

    Thanks for looking.

Just my opinion. Your first picture etched in the barrel by Winchester reads Model 94. The thread heading reads 1894. There is a difference between a model 94 and a 1894. Just trying to be helpful with a free bump and for potential buyer information in this age of fake news. :)

Did you buy my Vaquero? No, sorry I haven't. The good news is I don't throw anything out. The bad news is I have so much stuff I over look a lot because of the clutter.

It's the same gun lol. They were engraved with .30 WCF at one point as well, that's the same as .30-30 :)

They are the same mechanically except:
Most people refer to the pre-1964 guns as 1894's. and post 64 guns as 94's.
The difference is in the receiver pre-64's are steel and post 64's are winloy. Which is an alloy that doesn't blue well so they flash copperplate them then blacken the plating.
That's also why there's a big difference in price between pre and post 64 guns. Most collectors consider post guns as shooters only.
The 94 center fires went to the rebounding hammer action then got a safety. 1894 did not.
