Does this thing seat milsurp steel mags correctly? Bulgarians, chinese, russian, romanian? Or does it mostly work with pmags? I mean as in will it feed well and not have any locking issues

These originally came with a steel mag from the factory I've had several 556r over the years and never had an issue with steel, pmags, bakelites, or tapcos. I run pmags for the more modern tactical look
