Cool story about the Agawam Arms. I bought one years ago and did some research including calling the Agawam Chamber of Commerce and the local barber (it's a small town). It is an exact copy of the Ithaca single shot. There was a small machine shop in Agawam, MA. The owner started building these in 1968 (hence the Model 68). He made these in .22 and .22 magnum. Ithaca finally found out and gave him a cease and desist order. The old man died and his son inherited the shop and all of the left over inventory. According to some of the locals up there, he ran the shop poorly and shut it down. Many years later, Numrich Gun Parts bought the leftover parts. They still have some inventory. Hope whoever gets this will enjoy this "Limited Edition" little rifle!

He has discretion to do as he sees fit.
He has the big picture of who messaged him first.
He has a gut feeling of who sounds like a douche-bag vs a solid buyer.
He picked a name out a hat.
He has a life outside this forum and is busy and spends his time as he can.

All are valid reasons. Take your pick, new guy.

SPF doesn't mean they don't have the cash, it means we set a time and date and hold are word.

If a man gives his word to hold something, I respect that. Good on him.
I had a man promise to hold an item at his house, (after agreeing to meet me and was a no show), as I pulled up 20 minutes later, he was selling the item to somebody else. His word was worth nothing, piece of trash. This was NOT a forum member.
I have dealt with many members on this site and the Fishing forum also, I have been pleased with every person I have met and dealt with.
Maybe I should ONLY deal here!!
Again, a man is only as good as his word.

You didn't write it on the ad. You commented, something that I wouldn't usually check if I had PM'd you... and multiple people posted spf so who knows what was happening.
