Based on the questions I have been asked:

• I have never shot anything through it that was not a store bought round of 223 ammo.
• I have no idea what the twist is.
• I do not know if it'll fire 556.
• I have no idea if it has the Accutrigger
• I have shot almost exactly 30 rounds through it.
• I have not sighted in the scope, have had about zero range time all year unfortunately.

Apparently it is a Savage Axis 2, so it does have the Accutrigger.
I am open to trades too, can't hurt to ask!

It is safe to fire .223 in a 5.56 but NOT safe to fire 5.56 in a barrel marked .223! 5.56 has considerably higher chamber pressures than .223!
