Remington 788 in 222 Rem. Father cartridge of the 223. Very nice looking wood, better than most of this model. the 788 has a stronger/stiffer action than a 700, uses a 9 lug bolt with rear lockup with a 60 degree bolt throw, also faster lock time resulting in better accuracy. Has the heavy barrel (in between a sporter and bull barrel). Has a period correct Tasco long range varmint scope. In exc condition. Will come with approx 100 rds of ammo to get you started in varmint vaporization
