As you know, the rifle/shooter combination doesn't replicate the same group size time after time. With that said, Bergara guarantees the rifle to shoot 1 MOA or less at 100 yards and I'd definitely say that it holds up to that. I decided to have it bedded because I feel that a rifle in a fiberglass stock needs it. I would like to see Bergara do this from the factory. After bedding, it came close to cutting my groups by 1/3. So as far as groups go, I'd say it's capable of 5/8". I've shot some smaller and I've shot some larger but the average when I feel good about my shooting would be 5/8". I shot Nosler Trophy Grade 160 Accubonds in it when I first bought the rifle and they shoot really good. It wasn't long before I worked up a hand load for it with 175 grain Berger Elite Hunters and that's what I've shot since. I've had really good success with them on deer and with accuracy. It was also an easy cartridge to work up a hand load for and get low SD's. The only reason I'm wanting to sell it is because I fell in love with the cartridge so much, that I decided to have a custom rifle built in 280 AI. Even if you decide not to buy this rifle, I highly recommend you looking into this cartridge. It has become my favorite hunting cartridge. What kind of groups were you getting? What loads?
Thx
