I traded for this gun , I don't know a lot about so no judgement please ! This model is supposed to be a collector ?? It called an L-frame (according to local gun shop) . It appears this was a carry gun because of the blue rubbed off in spots as well as there is some light rust spots . I did however shoot this gun and it is in excellent shooting condition. I have a bunch ammo that goes with it . I will consider optics in trade. I was told it was worth anywhere from
$300 -$600 . $400 or Make an offer! I don't need to sell but don't need it. This is my first post in 5 years so if I made any mistakes let me know and I will correct . I am located in Pensacola , I will insist on Bill of Sale

It's a J frame model 36 flat latch. The flat latch puts it being made prior to 1970. Good luck with the sale.

This looks like a pre 36 which would be 50’s production. At first sight I thought it was an I frame.
