A P226 is on my list but it's behind a few others.

I have shot a few. Some that were service pistols. Solid gun. Love the fit and feel.

However funds are slated for other projects so timing is just not right.

I would say the only thing that would be a negative to the pistol is that as a Full Sized Pistol, that it is difficult to conceal. It is a legitimate weapon, and just as you said, the fit and feel is wonderful. Just not going to wear it under a shirt unless its very baggy.

This gun is still for sale, and there are many different establishments who do background checks and stuff here in Pensacola if you want to go that route and pay the 5$ transfer fee, if not, there are forms on this website that handle that sort of thing. My pictures clearly show the number, so you can call and see its not stolen, I have invoices from Buds online gun shop where I bought it new.
