    I'm going to show my ignorance with this post, but Im here to learn. So please try not to lay into me too hard...

    Cleaning my mosquito after some range time and found this gouge. Dont recall it being there before. Took a pic of it next to my dads- his has it too, but not as pronounced. Looks like the edge of an empty case got caught while cycling and the slide smashed it pretty hard into the 12 o'clock area above the barrel.
    -Sorry, I don't know the proper name for that area of the barrel.

    Anyway...any other squito owners have this mark? Should I be concerned?

    Pistol operates fine...it just bugs me. Don't know what the barrels made of, but it should be a harder material than the brass thats fired through the pistol.

    I have the same on mine but it does look more like your dads.

    Tried to upload a couple of pics but they wouldnt upload.
