Here is it being down backwards on the ammo channel. It raises pressures. Was tried in war with the thought of better penetration on armor and may prevent the bullets from deflecting off of the armor of WWI

Some of the Cutting Edge Raptor's are advertised by the company to be shot backwards for penetration.
I have some in .308" but never tried it.
You can also easily remove and replace the poly tip. In fact,they come with the poly tip seperate,not installed. Never tried this option either. ---- SAWMAN
