I currently have a Burris MTAC 1×4 power scope. I've been thinking of possible get some new glass. Oh yea it's for a 6.8 ar with 16" barrel. Just what could be a better for distance an for close.

I just put a 2-8X32 Vortex Diamondback HP on my 5.56. Extremely bright and clear and with more than 4.5" of eye relief it mounts well forward on my AR. Taking it to the range tomorrow to see how it does.

I see they also have a new strike eagle 1-6X24 which should also be quite the AR scope for the money.

I had never heard of the Strike eagle, I am very interested to see how it is when it's released. If it's not made in China I might have to put that in my list of scopes to buy if I ever save up for one.n

its a JBO billet lower and a CMT billet upper.
