Love the old 24s.
My first gun was a Savage 24 in 22/20 that my parents gave me for Christmas in 1969.
I walked a lot of fence rows with Dad carrying that gun.
I’ve since bought a couple more.
I know the ones in larger calibers didn’t come out until later, probably the ‘80s.
