Photos are a little low on the resolution, looks like a byf 44 (Mauser)? Matching numbers?

I'm unsure whether the magazine number matches. The pistol is in my mother's possession. She knows nothing about guns. To my knowledge it's never been altered. Definitely a P38

Should be similar to these. Eagle holding a German swastika. Not sure about the spelling on that. The number under the eagle will be the individual inspector's number.

We are trying to see if the Waffenamts are there, correct, or have been peened out. A parts, or rebuilt pistol will be worth significantly less. Please try to get some higher res clear photos of markings if you can. Thank you!

I’m not trying to crap on the OP’s post, but that does appear to be Russian capture BYF 44 P-38. The waffens appear to be peen’ed out (RC) which means it’s probably an import marked later import. The finish looks original though, so I might be wrong, the Russians loved to refinish their captures lol.
