I'd like to have the actual measurement of the length of a shell that can fit into a Saiga-12 magazine. Specifically, does a 3" shell (hull) have to be crimped to fit? It might be easier just measure the magazine back to front (the length of shell). This is all to learn if a particular incendiary bullet can fit. Thanks.

a crimped 3" shell wouldn't fit in my drums or mags 2 3/4" is tight
