RUGER Red Label, Cantonment

For Sale is a Ruger Red Lable shotgun. This weapon is a 12ga O/U with "modified" bbls of 20 inches. It also has had it's forcing cones relieved.(better pattern density,softer recoil) I am the origional owner and when this gun was new,the work was completed by one of the premier shot gun smiths in Maine. With the work done and shooting hard shot the gun patterns somewhere right at IMPROVED CYL. This weapon has a single trigger and auto safety/selector.

This gun is all stainless with a Rynite stock. This model was only made for a couple of years. The LOP has been reduced to 13 inches to make it extremely quick to shoulder. For trap,pointed quail,or fast flying doves,this weapon is (IMO) perfect.

This shotgun is in 95% condition(after the mods). $800. NOW--> $750. NOW --> $700. FTF in Cantonment. NO TRADES. You MUST have at least 30 posts on this forum for me to consider selling to you. What does O/U actually mean? Never shot a Shot Gun In my whole life. What are the advantages/disadvantages to having one?

EDIT TO ADD: I have shot several rounds of trap with this gun at my club. The guys laugh ....... when ......I finally miss one. Get on 'em,at even 35yds,and they break. This,with my hand loaded 1 1/2oz of #8's in "AA" hulls.
