    That Redfield looks like it was made before the Leupold days. If so, it's most likely better quality than today's models, IMO. I've got an OLD Redfield Tracker on my lever gun and it is a fantastic piece of glass. GLWS!

    Nice Ruger 77 you've got there. It's not a Hawkeye though. The Serial # begins with 79 which makes it a 1985 production M77.

    The Hawkeyes are a fairly recent addition to Ruger's lineup.
