CQB Course Defuniak Springs
**Friday (OPTIONAL) show time in Gaskin, FL 6pm for Students who need to zero Weapons, test equipment and receive a small block of instruction on CQB Fundamentals in bay 1**
Team RPGi is hosting a 20 hour live-fire CQB Course in Defuniak Springs, FL and welcomes you to attend. This course is open enrollment with skill level placement occurring after the first day of training.
Students will be assigned to groups in the following manner:
- Alpha Cell: Students who exhibit a high level of weapons handling, a strong working knowledge of room entry fundamentals and who have previously attended RPGi CQB courses.
- Bravo Cell: Students who exhibit a high level of weapons handling, working knowledge of room entry fundamentals, and have attended RPGi courses within a year.
- Charlie Cell: Students who exhibit working knowledge of weapons handling and limited experience with room entry fundamentals.
Day 0 (July 28th 1800-2000) Optional link up at the Farm in Gaskin, FL for Weapons and Equipment preparation (zero and gear preparation). Students will receive a short block of instruction on CQB fundamentals.
Day 1 (July 29th 1000-2100): Link up at the Farm in Gaskin, FL for Marksmanship Fundamentals, Stress tests and CQB Fundamentals (All day with a low light portion).
Day 2 (July 30th 1000-2100): Link up at SOF Solutions in Defuniak Springs, FL for CQB fundamentals, live fire room entry, Force on Force and Low Light CQB. *Lunch break will be programmed each day at 1300 and dinner break at 1700*
Equipment requirements:
- Eye protection (clear lenses and tinted lenses)
- Hearing protection
- Rifle (can be a 22LR conversion, PCC, AK or Standard AR-15)
- Semi-Auto pistol
- Weapon mounted light (Rifle)
- Weapon mounted light (Pistol)
- Body Armor with ballistic plates
- Summer clothing (must wear pants)
- Boots or footwear with ankle support (no tennis shoes or open toe shoes)
- 600 rounds of pistol
- 600 rounds of rifle
- Water bottle / Snacks
- Sling for rifle
- OWB holster for pistol
-Sturdy belt
- 2x Rifle magazine holder
- 2x Pistol magazine holder
- Gloves (Optional)
- Neck gaiter
- Long sleeved shirt (for Sunday Force on Force iterations)
- Weapons cleaning kit (optional)
- Force on Force Ammo provided
- Positive mental attitude!
Ammo: Ammunition can be purchased at Callaway Ballistics use code RPGi for free shipping and discount.
Lodging: Lodging can be reserved at Hotel Defuniak in Defuniak Springs, FL for $100 a night using code RPGi or you have the option to camp at the Farm (training location) for free. Call and ask to speak with Chef Ernie for Hotel reservations.
