    The less effects of recoil ("kick") the faster follow up shots. Doesn't matter the chambering you are shooting.
    Helps after the first shot when the hogs head for no-mans land. --- SAWMAN

    Quick question for you. - ->
    Are those well made optics that you have on those guns ??
    Of the 4 guns (grest guns BTW) shown,how much money do you have invested in them back up sights (BUIS,etc)
    What is the current application (usage) for these guns ??
    Legit ?? - - -> then why the sights ??
    ( MMMV) My milage may vary. I am sure that I am missing something TACTICAL and am eager to learn. ---- SAWMAN

    Got this upper with A2 carry handle and A2 front with a Krieger 20" 1/7.7" twist from a member here (thanks MetalStorm!) and put it on my Colt lower with old school A2 stock... getting some triangle handguards soon to complete a pseudo clone of a match rifle I lusted after back in the mid 90's. Used to shoot military match with an accurized M1 Garand. After back to back matches that .30-06 beat me up good. Buddy brought out his backup AR and I fell in love... only took me like 26 years to do it, but here it is!

    DG, you just might want to take a trial run with those scope rings.
    They look too hight to be able to get a good cheek weld.
    Those guns have quite a bit of drop at the comb so you really do not need any high rings unless you are going to mount a 56mm objective scope. --- SAWMAN

    Huh? Not sure what you're referring to SAWMAN... no rings on my A2 type setup buddy. Its gonna live life just the way it is, except the addition of triangle handguard.

    I believe that JJ and I both shot those A2 20" Colts in competition.
    I was never very good at that discipline. But it is amazing to see what some highly trained individuals can accomplish with those guns.
    Enjoy that weapon. --- SAWMAN
